Yuko Murakami (村上 ユウコ, Murakami Yuko) is the heroine of La Belle Fille Masquée Poitrine. Cheerful and optimistic, with a strong sense of justice. The eldest daughter of the Murakami household, with two younger brother and sister. She's a high school sophomore. She transforms into Poitrine (ポワトリン, Powatorin) to fight the monsters that infest her neighborhood. If her identity is revealed she will turn into a frog.

Yuko Murakami was an ordinary high school girl until one day she stopped by an abandoned shrine to pray for the new school year, she accidently breaks the bell and releases the shrine's god. The god bestows her power from an ancient goddess to protect her town from evil by saying "Cosmo Magic, Metamorphosis!" to transform into Poitrine. However, the god states if she tells anyone her secret identity or shows them her powers he will punish her by turning her into a frog.

- Belle Saber: A dagger weapon. It can fire a beam of light from the tip and can produce a variety of things using magic. With it, Yuko can use the Potrine Flash finisher. When the incident is resolved it is used to write a cursive “P” before Poitrine departs the scene
- Music Box Pendant: Yuko's pendant used for transformation. With the words Cosmo Magic Metamorphose! Yuko is transforms into Poitrine. Once transformed it becomes attached to Poitrine's chest.
- Cosmo Breath: An item Yuko uses to disguise herself. Usually in the shape of a wristwatch. With the phrase Oryudo it will disguise her into whatever she wishes. When the watch lid is opened it is possible to hear the sounds from a distance or project distant images. "Oh Liu de" means "in place of" (on behalf of the ~) in French.
- Merry Orugo Over Land: Recieved in episode 20 after passing a test of resolve from God. A miniature merry-go-round with golden Pegasus' around it. It has the ability to play a tune that when heard will reform or reveal the past of a person allowing them to reflect on their actions. It usually is placed in Yuko's room. It is sometimes referred to as the "Music box from god." Plays a music box version of the opening theme.
- Compact: In episode 30 In order to assist in dealing with Diable. Yuko was provided this compact mirror by Kami-sama via mail courier. It can detect danger as well as be used for transformation.
