Kaiketsu Lion Maru (快傑ライオン丸, Kaiketsu Raionmaru), translated in English to The Vigilant Lion Knight, Swift Hero Lion Maru or Extraordinary Hero Lion-Maru, is a jidaigeki/henshin hero tokusatsu series created by P-Productions and the first installment of the Lion Maru Series. It was aired between 1972 and 1973. The series was also dubbed into English, but only one episode (the first) surfaced in North America, released on a VHS tape in the 1980s, entitled Magic of the Ninja, and sold through toy store chains such as Toys R Us.
