Japan World Heroes is an upcoming 2017 California-based convention created by Power Morphicon
showrunner Scott Zillner.[1] The convention centers around tokusatsu superheroes, making it one of the first of its kind in the USA dedicated solely to such a theme.
In an interview, Zillner said he wanted to do this convention as there is a bigger world of heroes than just Power Rangers and wishes to celebrate it by inviting guests from Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Metal Heroes, Ultraman, Godzilla and many more. The first convention will be in Pasadena, California at the Pasadena Convention Center on August 26, 2017 and run until the following day.
