Hitomi Kai (
Character Biography[]
Hitomi is a timid and gloomy school girl who has the ability to see spirits such as Magii that normal humans see as ordinary humans, something that she dislikes or is annoyed by because of the problems and awkwardness it causes around her friends and family. She also seems to have the ability to break the fourth wall and talk to the audience, even pointing out her awareness that she is the main heroine of the series. She is a fan of rakugo and often listens to it on an old red and yellow cassette tape player with headphones.

Hitomi Kai is played by Yua Shinkawa (新川 優愛, Shinkawa Yua) who also played Reika Saotome
