Growing up in the 1980's to the late 90's, Filipino kids were exposed to the Super Sentai series such as BiomanIcon-crosswiki, MaskmanIcon-crosswiki, and JetmanIcon-crosswiki, to name a few. These might be the inspiration of Miko Livelo and Joel Ferrer to create BLUE BUSTAMANTE.

The film is set in the 1990's and tell the story of George Bustamante, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Japan to support his son and loving wife. After losing his job short after, he tries to find a new one and with the help of Roger Grace, he ends up as a suit actor for Blue Force, one of the characters in a new sentai show.

Blue Bustamante stars Joem Bascon as George Bustamante, with Dimples Romana and Jhiz Deocareza as his wife and son, Juniper and Kiko, and Jun Sabayton as Roger Grace. It is co-produced through Miko Livelo’s Super Combo Punch Kick productions as part of Cinema One Originals.
